Arnel Pineda

Arnel Pineda is an Filipino musician and singer who was a star in the Philippines in the 1890s, and internationally in 2007 when he was the brand-new lead singer of the American rock group Journey. Arnel is 54 years old as of 2021. He was born Arnel Campaner Pineda, on September 5 1967 in Tondo, Manila, Philippines. The day he celebrates his birthday is September 5 each year. Arnel will turn 55 on September 5 2022. His birth sign is Virgo. Arnel is 5'4" (164 cm) tall. His mother passed away, which left his family with debts. His father, who was six months behind on rent payments and in a position of no means to support his family, pleaded with his family members to adopt Arnel. Arnel was aware of the situation and decided to leave school to help his father. Arnel was conceived at St. Jude Thaddeus's diagnostic clinic in Tondo Manila, Philippines to Restituto L. Pineda and Josefina Mannansala Campaner. Arnel was motivated by his mother to sing while it was still a child. The family members signed him up to participate in singing contests. Arnel's mother died of heart disease when Arel was 13. The family was left in debt following the loss of his mother. His father, who was in debt for six months and was in a position to support the needs of his family decided to request his family members to adopt Arnel. Arnel is the youngest of three brothers, Roderick Pineda, Joselito. Arnel realized the severity of his situation and quit school in order to ease his father's burden. Arnel spent nearly two years sleeping in the streets. He slept wherever was possible such as in parks or on narrow benches outside of crowded houses. He traded newspapers, glass bottles and scrap metals to recyclers. Arnel also did odd jobs like cleaning scrap metals and docking ships. Arnel is married to Cherry Pineda. The couple was married in 2001. Together, the couple has had two kids one daughter (Thea Chenelle Pineda) and one son (Cherub). Arnel has two children of his own: Matthew and Angelo.
